Just look at these awesome crayons we made today out of old broken pieces of crayons! I am so thrilled with them! They are big and chunky and safe for the babies in my care to use. I love them. They are easy to make especially if you have a fun silicone tray like we have.
It's simple..just peel the paper off the crayons and break the crayons up onto small pieces. Pop them into a muffin tin or fancy silicone baking container of some sort. Preheat oven at 250 degrees and cook until fully melted. Add new unmelted pieces as you need to to fill containers. Let fully cool before taking out of pan. Voila..cool chunky crayons for little hands!
